Why we have policies and procedures in place:
We recognise that – although acting as our own limited company – we will for much of our operations, be using and managing public funds, so remain committed to working as openly and transparently as possible.
In addition, given our Teckal arrangement with our 100% shareholder, Oxfordshire County Council, it’s vital that we have the right policies and procedures in place to provide trust and accountability across all areas of our work.
We are therefore able to strongly meet the expectations placed on us.
Review our policies and procedures:
Listed below are our key policies and procedures, supporting the day-to-day running, governance and committed to transparency within our organisation.
Our Articles of Association documentation communicates the written rules regarding the running of our organisation. They define the membership of our Board, how meetings are conducted and the roles and responsibilities of directors.
These are agreed by organisaton’s shareholders, directors and the company secretary.
Our latest audited accounts can be found here, for the period ending 31 March 2024. These are updated annually and made available via our website at their earliest opportunity.
The Code of Conduct outlines the responsibilities of Board Directors. To ensure effectiveness, the Board conducts an annual review and makes changes as necessary.
Additionally, every three years, an external body conducts a review to ensure independent validation in alignment with best practices.
We are dedicated to supporting a fully-inclusive culture and recognise that we have a role in promoting diversity and eliminating discrimination and seek to do this in the way we conduct ourselves and our business.
This policy reinforces our commitment to providing equality and fairness to all those who wish to work with or for us and will not act less-favourably, based on a number of grounds.
Our gifts register gives information on all gifts, benefits or entertainment, offered or accepted by the organisation.
Our register of directors’ expenses give details of the expenses claimed by our directors (including our Non-executive Directors).
