A major new skills centre near Witney which provides a ‘highly-technical’ environment, supporting courses and research relating to livestock husbandry. The centre has been built to combine theory teaching spaces and a livestock area, capable of supporting the latest agricultural technology, whilst helping to provide a solution to the agritech skills shortage problem in Oxfordshire.
The centre houses a classroom with a state-of-the-art NEDAP Pig Performance Testing station, Shearwell Data for sheep stock analysis and a live feedback system, alongside student changing areas and a range of animals, including sheep, pigs and goats.
