Abingdon & Witney College’s Construction Skills Academy is equipping the county’s young people and adults with the skills needed to secure employment within a key sector in Oxfordshire.

In a county identified as having world-leading potential in innovation in low-carbon technologies, Abingdon & Witney College’s curriculum responds to this: with plumbing for renewable technology, electrical installation, carpentry and joinery.

It’s hoped that this shift in curriculum reflects Oxfordshire’s focus on capturing economic growth opportunities that emerge from the UK’s ambition to reach net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.

Delivery Partner: Abingdon & Witney College
