Enterprise Oxfordshire is pleased to announce the launch of its procurement process for Wave 7 of the Department for Work and Pensions’ (DWP) Skills Bootcamps.

This marks a significant step in delivering high-impact, sector-specific training that helps Oxfordshire residents upskill or reskill into priority sectors, while supporting local employers to fill key vacancies.

Enterprise Oxfordshire will be managing £1.275 million-worth of Skills Bootcamps programmes across Oxfordshire with procured partnerships to deliver each programme.

Wave 7 will focus on priority sectors aligned to Oxfordshire’s Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) and employer demand, including digital and data, AI, cyber security, IT support, business and leadership, health and social care, early years, transport and logistics, green construction, and construction.

The programme is aimed at adults aged 19 and over, including those who are unemployed, in work, self-employed, or returning to the labour market.

Skills Bootcamps are free to learners and provide a clear line of sight to employment outcomes, including a guaranteed interview on completion for independent learners.

Enterprise Oxfordshire is seeking experienced training providers with strong employer links to deliver Skills Bootcamps across 11 lots, ensuring provision is employer-led, outcomes-focused, and accessible to learners across the county, including those from under-represented groups.

The deadline for proposals is 13 March 2026, with contracts expected to commence from 19 May 2026.

Contracts will run until 30 September 2027, subject to funding conditions and performance.

Further information, including the Invitation to Tender and application guidance, is available on the Enterprise Oxfordshire Skills website.
