Businesses across Oxfordshire are being urged by Enterprise Oxfordshire to put themselves forward for vital recognition, with entries open for the county’s much-celebrated business awards.
As the flagship celebration of all things business in the area – now marking its 30th year – the Oxfordshire Business Awards continues to shine a spotlight on organisations that have demonstrated standout results, bold ideas and meaningful impact.
With categories spanning innovation, technology excellence and recognition for both SMEs and larger organisations, the Oxfordshire Business Awards provide opportunities for businesses at every stage and across all sectors.
The prestigious awards dinner will this year take place on Friday 12 June at Oxford Brookes University.
Enterprise Oxfordshire is once again proud to support the New Business award, celebrating exceptional start ups and early stage companies – a category the organisation has championed for many years.
Achieving a place on the shortlist or taking home a win can elevate a company’s profile, strengthen credibility and open doors to new partnerships.
The awards offer independent recognition and the chance to connect with other outstanding Oxfordshire businesses at one of the county’s leading business events.
Rob Panting – Communications Manager of Enterprise Oxfordshire – said: “Recognising new business efforts and achievements in Oxfordshire is so important. We were therefore delighted to once again support this year’s Oxfordshire Business Awards new business category to highlight and commend the collective desire and determination of our many new businesses.”
Enterprise Oxfordshire became the new trading name of OxLEP on 1 April last year, with the change marking the completion of a two-year process that saw the economic development functions – previously led by Local Enterprise Partnerships – altered so that they were to be overseen via a mechanism agreed by respective upper-tier local authorities, in this instance, Oxfordshire County Council.
Since becoming Enterprise Oxfordshire, Oxfordshire County Council now act as the organisation’s 100% shareholder, known as a Teckal company arrangement.
The closing date for Oxfordshire Business Awards entries is Friday 20 February at midnight.
Businesses are encouraged to visit the Oxfordshire Business Awards website to enter and learn more about this year’s categories.
