UK Property Forums and OxLEP have teamed-up to put on the Oxfordshire Property Festival which launches at Milton Park to a fully subscribed audience.

Guests at the launch which is hosted by MEPCwill get a taste of the main event which is on 18 April.

The 18 April event tickets for which are already selling fast will be themed on walks talksawards and music. Talks and debates will celebrate the county’s development and look at issues around its rapid growth.

There will be entertainment at the 25 January launch along with food and refreshments. Entries will open for the awards section of the festival with winners presented at the April 18 event.

Matthew Battle managing director of UK Property Forumssaid: “We have had a really good response to the invitations to the launch event at Milton Park hosted by MEPC.

“We have had more than 150 acceptances which is really encouraging given that it is week day event.

“However maybe this is just a reflection of the pent up interest in the region for anything property related. Whatever the reasons I just hope that we keep them all entertained for a couple of hours.”

Nigel Tipple chief executive of OxLEP added: “We are delighted to be partnering with UK Property Forums for the first-ever Oxfordshire Property Festival.

“It’s clear that the festival will showcase some of world-class investment opportunities that exist across Oxfordshire as well as celebrating associated property success.

“As a countywe continue to reaffirm a world-leading economic position. PwC’s Good Growth for Cities report announced Oxford as being one of the two highest-performing cities – in relation to growth – anywhere in the UK.

“This was followed last Autumn’s announcement from Bidwells that – in the first six months of this financial year – business space requirements in Oxfordshire increased by 74 per cent.

“With strong retail successes like the £440m redevelopment of Westgate Oxford and the opening of 30 new stores at the internationally-renowned Bicester Villagethe property festival will undoubtedly showcase a variety of achievements that have significant national and international impact.”
